چکیده
The modification of fatty substrates using heterogeneous catalysts have extensive industrial application and has an emphatic position in a sustainable context. Herein ruthenium, nickel, cobalt copper-doped supported on hypercrosslinked polystyrene (HPS) were prepared by wet impregnation, characterized applied the canola acid methyl esters (FAME). characterization showed dispersive effect doping metals over ruthenium particles, presence sites overall surface morphology, which allows targeting potential applications. chosen modifications consisted hydrogenation, hydroformylation, oxidative cleavage deoxygenation, resulting superb catalytic activities 99% conversions for hydrogenation deoxygenation. simplicity FAME composition understanding processes upscale more complex matrixes. Finally, obtained data stimulates further optimization studies each with variation usage residual substrates, greatly enhancing sustainability profile systems.

Crystallization Behavior of Fatty Acid Methyl Esters
Biodiesel from most agricultural feedstocks has flow properties that are prone to startup and operability problems during cold weather. Biodiesel from soybean oil is generally a mixture of long-chain fatty acid alkyl esters composed of 0.15–0.20 mass fraction saturated esters (melting point [MP] 0 C) mixed with unsaturated esters (MP \ 0 C). This work investigates the crystallization properties...
متن کاملNovel fatty acid methyl esters from the actinomycete Micromonospora aurantiaca
The volatiles released by Micromonospora aurantiaca were collected by means of a closed-loop stripping apparatus (CLSA) and analysed by GC-MS. The headspace extracts contained more than 90 compounds from different classes. Fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) comprised the major compound class including saturated unbranched, monomethyl and dimethyl branched FAMEs in diverse structural variants: Unb...

A convenient method using commercial aqueous concentrated HCl (conc. HCl; 35%, w/w) as an acid catalyst was developed for preparation of fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) from sterol esters, triacylglycerols, phospholipids, and FFAs for gas-liquid chromatography (GC). An 8% (w/v) solution of HCl in methanol/water (85:15, v/v) was prepared by diluting 9.7 ml of conc. HCl with 41.5 ml of methanol....

متن کاملMethod of Converting Free Fatty Acids to Fatty Acid Methyl Esters
A method for converting free fatty acids in acid oil or acid fat into fatty acid methyl esters is disclosed. The method involves adding a small amount of methanol and an acid catalyst to the acid oil or acid fat and subjecting the mixture to conditions that allow the fatty acid methyl esters to form. A lipid phase containing the fatty acid methyl esters and triglycerides can from and be separat...
